Patrisia Gonzales Ph.D is a Traditional Healer in Mexican Folk Medicine, Midwife, Story Teller, Professor, and Writer. Her ability to relate the ancestral philosophies on Feminine healing and knowledge to modern Western capability of understanding are extrodinary. Her work is largely centered on Traditional Healing Rites of ancient Mexico and her book Red Medicine: Traditional Indigenous Rites of Birthing & Healing is one of the most in-depth, sacred texts regarding the role of women as healers.

Along with her extrodinary work in recognizing the traditional role of Woman as Healer, she specializes in Indigenous Ways of Knowing, which is in essence the study and application of Indigenous psychology in modern times.
